rules to be followed for margazhi vratha ritual

Dear all,

namaste. after seeing the objective of the ritual, qualification to undertake a ritual, the aim and purpose of these to attain Sri Krishna, who can only give Himself, now let us see the rules to be observed for the ritual, these rules are for the participants who believes in Lord Sri Krishna, the Lord of Lords to give Himself to the pure devotees.

The Gopas and Gopikas were very fortunate to have Sri Krishna as their friend, philosopher and Guide.  In both the cases of Sri Rama and Sri Krishna, the people were very attached to them. In Rama’s case people of Ayodhya followed Sri Rama when He left for forest.  In the same of way Gopies of Nandagav, they were not to able to accept the separation of Sri Krishna from them.

We must clearly know the distinction between attachment and devotion.  Dasaratha had attachment and Gopies had devotion.

When we have devotion even death cannot separate it. But attachment can easily separated by death.

Rituals are of many types… to attain name, fame, to destroy enemy , to attain for desired fruits etc.., apart from this rituals can also be classified under selfless aims, to do good for all, to love the nature, to love our fellowmen, to destroy our selfish nature etc.,

paraman adi paadi… we must sing the praise of the Lord Sri Krishna that too the Praise of His holy feet, where are the four vedas search their purpose.

Neiyyunnoom paalunnoom…. neiy is ghee and pal is milk.. both present in each other and which strengthens the body.. and not for soul.. The gopies declare that they are in the ritural ie vratha and they do not give importance to their body…

naarkale neeradi… three important principles of life… taking bath early in the morning…speaking truth… discharging ones own duty without any hesitation..

we will not decorate our eyes, because the kind sight and kind vision is the ornament for the eyes.

taking bath early and ever ready to serve God and His devotees are the better things to be done by the body.

speaking truth is the ornament for mouth and tongue..

discharge of owns own duty is the ornament for soul.

we will not hurt anyone even they are not devotees of our beloved God Sri Krishna, we will speak only kind and the leela of our Great God,…with these decorations we wait for you oh Sri Krishna..

Sri Krishnaya namaha…
